Belhaven 60/-

As described by CAMRA at the Scottish Real Ale Festival this year a 60/- or Mild is normally "Low in strength but plenty of flavour. Roast malt and soft sweetness" I do enjoy a light ale, low in booze and high in refreshment and flavour...

60/- Pale Ale is brewed to an old Scottish recipe. It has a distinctive dark colour and a light roast character.

It's quite a low alcohol ale, at 2.9% and sadly low in taste too... I have drunk better flavoured dishwater. I had high hopes for this, as did my drinking buddy, but sadly the 60/- just did not live up to expectations.

Whisky Fringe tickets

My Whisky Fringe tickets have just been re-issued for the 15th and 16th August, and arrived in the post today.

I'll hopefully get in early to take pictures of the venue and stands again this year, which will, of course, be put online.
